For the first couple of days I were completely snowed in. Then today I got all nicely wrapped up warm, with my wellingtons on and went out for a walk, and also asked my neighbours if they needed anything from the shop. There weren't any cars driving, yet there were so many people out walking, who all smiled and said hello as we went past. There were also people out clearing their drives with shovels who stopped for a natter - proving once again that us British love to talk about the weather! LOL I didn't know half of these people and if on a normal day we pass each other we probably would just walk past without acknowledgement, such is normal busy life. Going out in the snow was a lovely experience, it has certainly left me smiling for the rest of the day! So if you haven't ventured out yet (and if you're fit and able) I thoroughly recommend getting out for a good natter.
